Inspiration for Noise Reduction Development
Efforts to Reduce Noise
Fusion of Digital and Analog
Signal Monitoring Feature
Two Operating Modes
• Noise Reduction Mode
In this mode, the noise reduction circuit starts a gradual reduction of the volume to make the noise less noticeable when the volume drops below the set volume (THRESHOLD value). The Signal Monitoring function provides the best volume control and achieves natural attenuation. When a signal exceeding the set value is received, the noise reduction circuit immediately passes the signal as it is.
• Noise Gate Mode
In this mode, the sound is muted immediately when the volume drops below the set volume (THRESHOLD value). This is useful when you want to stop the sound immediately while playing. It can be used as a crisp gate effect.
Pursuit of Sound Quality
Effect ON/OFF Function by MIDI Signal
FEATURES
- The input signal is constantly monitored by our original signal monitoring system. The optimal noise reduction operation is performed on the input signal.
- Equipped with Noise Reduction and Noise Gate modes. You can select the operation to suit your purpose.
- Equipped with input impedance select switch (Hi-Z/Lo-Z).
- Control by MIDI signal (Control Change Number) is possible (effect on/off only).
- Equipped with Free The Tone’s original HTS (Holistic Tonal Solution) circuit. Unlike conventional buffer circuits, the HTS circuit performs impedance conversion while drawing out the sound characteristics of the guitar and bass to the utmost limit, achieving both “high sound quality” and “low noise.” Even when the effect is off, this HTS circuit prevents the deterioration of the sound quality of the guitar and bass sounds.
- Since the output signal is in phase with the input signal, there is no need to worry about phase inversion.
